In past years, service events have included:

  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Daily Evening Soup Kitchen
  • Leeway, a sub-acute medical facility committed to providing care to patients living with HIV/AIDS
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Children's Community Programs of CT
  • Neighborhood Health Project
  • Columbus House
  • Glaucoma screening at Yale-New Haven Hospital (Student Sight Savers)

Other exciting aspects of S.A.Y. include dinners at a variety of New Haven restaurants, inspiring talks by Yale faculty, game nights, bowling, and spending time at the beach.

The first event this year is a joint welcome dinner with MOOTies on Thursday, August 20 at 5pm. After that, prepare to get your hands dirty as we go out and do service projects during the next few days. S.A.Y. will end on Monday, August 24.

Please submit your registration by July 1 if you will be participating in S.A.Y. New Haven.

If you are accepted off of the waiting list after July 1, please contact the S.A.Y. leader directly for instructions on how to register.

There is no registration fee for S.A.Y.
