The Yale Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) is dedicated to
introducing medical and PA students to the field of emergency medicine. Through hands-on events, students can learn skills such as suturing, intubation, and trauma assessment. We also have lectures on topics like wilderness medicine and toxicology. The group is a great way to meet attendings and residents in the field and get your questions answered about this exciting career. In the future we hope to be able to provide opportunities such as EMS ride along, ED shadowing, and research mentoring. Please contact Ben Zabar, Benjamin.Zabar@yale.edu, or Caleb Korngold, Caleb.Korngold@yale.edu with questions.
