Bio2, the sister program to the Anatomy Teaching Program (ATP), allows Yale medical and graduate students to mentor students at Career High School in New Haven. Mentoring a student involves working with him/her to develop a science- or health-related presentation, which he/she ultimately presents to his/her class. Mentors meet with or contact their mentees on a regular basis (usually weekly or biweekly over the course of 2 or so months) to act as sounding boards as the students come up with an idea for their project and begin to research it.
