The Committee Overseeing Volunteer Services (COVS) is a branch of the Yale Health Professional Schools Community Service Program which oversees funding for organizations that provide volunteer services to the New Haven community. At the beginning of each fiscal year, COVS board members review budget applications and work with the Office of Student Affairs to determine funding allocations for a variety of student-run programs actively working with schools, community groups, and health clinics in the local area.
