Join SiteDear SMDEP Participant:
You are confirmed to participate in the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) at Yale School of Medicine. You have been selected from a large and extremely competitive application pool. You and approximately 80 other students will receive educational and practical experiences to improve your competitiveness in the medical school application process.
The Yale program will begin on Friday, June 20, 2009 and end on Friday, July 31, 2009. You will receive a total stipend of $600.00. Housing and meals are provided without cost to you.
Medical students coordinate weekend day trips to enjoy the New Haven scenery. Yale University also offers a full range of educational, social and cultural events during the summer. The summer is an exciting time at the School of Medicine and in the New Haven surrounding area.
