The Transplant Interest Group (TIG) is dedicated to introducing medical students to surgical and medical aspects of transplant medicine.  We facilitate the transplant beeper program, in which 1^st and 2^nd year students can be paged to observe and scrub in on kidney and liver transplants.  We also facilitate students getting in touch with and shadowing transplant medicine physicians.  The group is a great way to meet attendings and residents and learn about this exciting field.
