The Wilderness Medicine Interest Group provides a forum for research, education, and training in wilderness medicine.  Through lectures and workshops, we offer opportunities to learn about backcountry medical care and provide students with skills that can be used in any resource-scarce environment, including wilderness, rural, post-disaster, and international settings.  All students at the Yale School of Medicine are encouraged to participate.
